Pastor Ken Andrews is the Cofounder of RetroFit Ministries, a pastor of 30 years and a contributing writer for the Christian Post online. Ken earned a Bachelor’s degree from Bethany University and Master’s from Fuller Seminary. A licensed minister for three decades, he spent 20 years helping revitalize and rebirth a church in Pasadena CA. He began RetroFit Ministries after a 16 episode life-changing experience on The Biggest Loser on National television. His experience on that program helped to open his eyes to a Biblical emphasis on people’s physical health. Now in the process of becoming a certified trainer, Ken is dedicating his ministry emphasis to waking the church to the crisis of unhealthy living and its toll on our spiritual, emotional and physical health.
Austin Andrews is a young author who Cofounded RetroFit Ministries with his father. After a 20 episode appearance on The Biggest Loser allowed him to experience the joy of being healthy he dreamed with his dad how much a ministry focused on healthy living was needed especially in the Christian community. Austin approaches the subject from a youthful, hope-filled and exciting perspective focused on encouraging and challenging people to take the next step forward. In the process of becoming a certified personal trainer, Austin is excited to use the gym as a platform to bring freedom to lives.

Lori Andrews, a Special Educator and Principal in her day job, supports the RetroFit team in the background. Lori enjoys organizing events and editing for the men in her life as well as being mom to three great kids and a wonderful daughter-in-law.

Matt Hylton joined RetroFit after his life was incredibly challenged and changed. Coming from a place of desperation after losing his wife, family, friends, job, church, & health, Matt has lost 255 pounds in two years, and his journey is continuing. Matt is a life & health speaker, minister, contributing blogger, and Retrofit ministries team member. In Matt’s words, he is “like a boxer on a comeback trail”; everything is being restored back but is NEW”.
RFM Speaking Agent/Retreat Coordinator & Promoter
Chris Admire, a Texas native, graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Church Ministry and Counseling Psychology. Since graduating, he has worked with various singers, songwriters, authors, and public speakers in booking concerts, television appearances and venues within both the Christian and secular industries. Chris also volunteers in his home church in the media, sound booth, web design, and leading Bible studies. His passion is people and helping them to network to further their giftings for the Kingdom of God. He has authored books and has published works in newspapers and magazines. His hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, genealogy, web design, and video editing.

Michael Thompson joined RetroFit recently after beginning his journey back to health. Michael has ten years of business development, sales & marketing experience. He’s highly proficient with SEO. Michael is an entrepreneur, husband, father and a follower of Christ. He enjoys BBQing, swimming, health & fitness, and spending time with his family.

Julie Wilson is a wife, mother of four, Christian school teacher, and runner from Valparaiso, Indiana. With her faith firmly in Christ Jesus, she follows a path to a balance between the tempo of life and the consistency of fitness and healthy eating. After she had her daughters and a journey that led her to lose ninety-nine pounds, she finds herself blessed with the opportunity to be a part of RetroFit Ministries. This gives her the opportunity to share her experiences, and to be inspired by others while encouraging them on their journeys.
RFM Faith and Fitness Retreats Head Trainer
Laurie Graves is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer who joined RetroFit as the Head Trainer for Faith & Fitness Retreats. She trains and mentors former contestants from NBC’s The Biggest Loser and ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss in her local area, as well as coaching stay at home mom, students, dancers, actors, and business executives. She puts into practice what she learned growing up at Lakewood Church and has inspired women’s groups and entire congregations with faith and fitness leadership. She has taught hundreds of people how to live healthier and happier lives. Laurie is successful in helping people achieve their weight loss goals. She aids them in learning effective ways maintain a healthy lifestyle through proven biblical principles of the body, mind, and spirit.
RFM Director of Prayer Teams
The Rev. James L. Guthrie, Jr. heads up the prayer ministry for RetroFit Ministries. James and his wife Linda live in Valdosta, Georgia where he serves as a Hospice Chaplain. James did his undergraduate studies at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia, Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas and did graduate studies at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia. He is an ordained Anglican minister in the Convocation of Anglicans in North America Diocese of CANA East.
